The ADE spindle-driven roller cam scissor lift has achieved an international reputation for quality and reliability over many years. A variant of the ADE roller-cam design, using a spindle drive instead of a hydraulic cylinder drive, has been introduced. 172 of these new roller cam scissor lifts with spindle drives were recently purchased by General Motors and installed on the final assembly line in Lansing, Michigan, USA.

The significant advantage of ADE's roller cam design is that the lift load is translated into a virtually constant pull force over the entire lift stroke. This means minimized wear and higher mechanical efficiency can be achieved. As a consequence, this design has been widely adopted by systems integrators and the automotive industry as being eminently suitable for continuous, high-duty rated manufacturing.
