General Overview

The Motion Index Drives TG and TX series of Right Angle Globoidal Indexers encompass a large range of sizes and are ideal for high speed high accuracy Automatic Index Drive applications. Both the TG and TX series Index Drive are Cam Driven Devices. The TG and TX are offered in fixed number of stations or as a 100% flexible index table – servo flexible index drive or standard AC brake motor with encoder.

Key Features and Benefits

Right Angle Globoidal Index Drives convert a uniform input motion into an intermittent output motion.
Great for extremely high speed applications
Intermittent output motion is transmitted through our hardened, precision-machined cam in clockwise, counter clockwise or oscillator movement.
Cam profiles, most commonly: modified sine, cycloidal, modified trapezoidal, and simple sine allow a smooth acceleration and smooth deceleration free of harsh starts and stops.
High precision cam followers and machined cams allow for accuracies of up to .0009" (0.023 mm) while our Right Angle Index Drives are in dwell.
Locking dwell eliminates any need for external locating devices, such as shot pin mechanisms.
Automatic 90 degree oscillating index drive cams – motor continuously runs in one direction as top dial oscillates back and forth in 90 degree increments
Flexible constant lead barrel cam option offers an infinite number of possibilities without the need for expensive servo motors or servo drives. Visit Flexible Drive page for more information
